Mount Pleasant Stables Experience

Steve and Jeannie McChesney of Mount Pleasant Stables have raised registered quarter horses and paints for the past 25 years.  Their colts are handled on a daily basis and their mares are broke, gentle and easy to handle.  Their stallions are all broke and really ride.  They are really gentle and nice to handle also.

Mount Pleasant Stables have three really good trainers that do all of the training.  Stephane Stringari, their daughter, has her Equestrian degree from Rocky Mountain College at Billings, MT.  She has studied under some really good instructors and clinicians.  She started into the discipline of Dressage in 1994 and continues to better herself and her horses.  She is also a certified instructor for the North American Riding for the Handicapped of Colorado.

Reis Wolf, Bismarck, ND comes from Washington State where he trained at Emerald Downs for a number of years and then relocated to ND.  Reis uses the Clinton Anderson methods of training.  All of the horses whether it be colts or older horses are started with a soft easy hand.  When he gets done with them, they are soft, they flex, their minds are good and they have a really good handle on them.  They are ready for a new job.

Sara Schank, Richardton, ND was born in Bismarck and raised in Riverdale,ND.  She grew up around horses.  At an early age Sara was into 4H, horse shows and rodeos.  People envious of how well her horses were trained asked her to train for them.  She has been training outside horses every since.  When Sara gets done with a horse, the horse is very soft, flexes nice, and is very calm and collected.  Ready to go on.  Sara also does all of the videos and the pictures for our website.

Mount Pleasant Stables continues to show in AQHA, APHA and Open shows.  They take pride in their horses looking great and being gentle.  With their versatility, they can go into any discipline and be successful.
